We recently completed an exterior painting and decorating project in Marshfield, near Chippenham, covering both the front and rear of this attractive property.

At the front of the house, the work involved preparing and repainting the traditional windows, carefully restoring the existing joinery while retaining the character of the property.

We then moved on to the newly built cottage and the rear of the main house, where the external windows, doors and timber joinery were fully prepared and painted. Good preparation is particularly important with exterior woodwork, helping to achieve a quality finish while providing the timber with the protection it needs throughout the year.

For this project we used the Dulux Trade Weathershield system, a market-leading exterior paint system designed to provide excellent durability and long-term protection against the British weather.

The finished result has refreshed the appearance of the property while ensuring its traditional windows, doors and exterior joinery are properly protected for years to come.
